Game Overview
WarMUX is a turn-based artillery game, similar to Worms. Players control teams of Unix-based characters, who take turns trying to kill each other. The last team standing wins.There are a variety of weapons to choose from, as well as special items that help you move, such as a jetpack. The game features LAN play, as well as "hotseat" multiplayer on a single computer.
If you are interested in playing this game online, you will find it difficult to find active servers or players, unfortunately.
Impressions
The game is quite easy to learn, and it is easy to set up a LAN game using the in-game menus. The cartoon-y art style is a nice homage to Worms. There is a nice variety of weapons. I haven't played it much yet, but it looks like a solid game so far.
