The game is nice, has been brought out under a new development commercially, and looks awesome in that version. This version is nice and has alot of modifiers to play with, the only thing I see missing is the ability to customize the server setting for non-dedicated servers like one on a lan party type thing. Though, you probably can with the dedicated server, though I have not used it yet. Great game, should check it out. Nexuiz is fun.

Nexiuz is pretty much dead by now, try xonotics it is a continuation under a new name
